College Readiness

Our College Readiness Initiative is dedicated to supporting underserved high school students in Lexington—especially those from low-income, immigrant, and refugee families—who often face systemic barriers to higher education. For newcomers to the U.S. education system, language barriers and unfamiliar expectations can make the path to college feel overwhelming and out of reach.

Through our interactive workshops, students at different stages of their high school journey receive step-by-step support as they explore academic interests, select potential majors, prepare for standardized tests, and develop compelling college applications and essays. The program is designed not only to inform, but to build confidence—equipping students with the clarity and practical tools they need to make informed decisions about their future.

What makes this program transformative is access to mentorship from experienced college admission counselors and current college students who share real-life lessons, helping participants avoid common pitfalls and build confidence.
