Enhancing Digital Learning

At the heart of DSSN’s mission is a simple conviction that every child, no matter where they are born, deserves access to quality education and the tools needed to thrive in a digital world.

Through the targeted device distribution, and comprehensive teacher training in digital instruction, we are working to close the digital divide in under-resourced rural schools in Zimbabwe to integrate technology effectively into everyday learning. Traditional classrooms are being transformed into vibrant centers of learning, creativity, and innovation.

Technology for Opportunity

Gently used laptops donated by supporters are carefully refurbished and delivered to rural schools, where they are paired with smart servers containing 8TB of curated educational content, including textbooks, reading materials, STEM resources, and interactive learning materials.

Even in communities without internet access, these tools transform classrooms into fully functional computer labs and digital libraries—making high-quality learning resources accessible without requiring connectivity.

Impact That Transforms Lives

DSSN is transforming teaching and learning across rural communities in Zimbabwe:

  • Delivered 200+ laptops and 4 smart servers to schools in Buhera, reaching over 2,500 students

  • Trained 70+ teachers in digital literacy and classroom technology integration

  • Significant improvements in academic performance and student engagement across partner schools

  • In 2025, a student from our partner school emerged as the top national performer in the Akello Smart Learning Competition

Join Us in Expanding Digital Access

DSSN aims to expand access to digital learning for hundreds of students and educators by delivering 500+ laptops and 10 smart servers across Zimbabwe before the end of 2026.
