Sara Schuer

Sara Schuer is a born-and-raised Kentuckian. She was raised in a small, rural community with strong roots to education and faith. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education from the University of Kentucky. Sara is a teacher at heart with a passion for serving others. She brings over 20 years of teaching experience, both inside and outside formal teaching settings.

Over the years, she has embraced various leadership and service roles within her community. Her involvement includes serving as a Board Member and Secretary for Common Good CDC, representing parents on the School-Based Decision-Making Council at Morton Middle School, and mentoring students through the school's Leadership Academy. Additionally, she has contributed to Glendover Elementary by holding leadership positions in the PTA, including President and Vice-President of Volunteers.

Beyond school initiatives, she is a dedicated member of Centenary Church, actively participating on the Church Council and chairing the Family Ministries Committee. Her community commitment also shines through her active participation in Bible Study Fellowship, where she has taken on multiple leadership roles, such as Teaching Leader and Group Leader. Through these diverse experiences, she has consistently aimed to foster growth, collaboration, and a positive, supportive environment within her community.
